- This all-AZZURRI book offers a pair of powerful manga stories. The first, 13-page "and He laughed," is a candid, canny look at what makes Duo tick--as explained by Duo himself. It's
followed by the 27-page title story, in which a wounded Heero, losing blood fast and struggling alone through a desert, suddenly encounters Duo...with a tragic twist of an ending.

- Token appearances by Trowa, Quatre and Wufei (who voice their displeasure), and a humorous two-pager presenting a great new ending for the TV series are followed by a dramatic
39-page story in which recently acquainted transfer students Heero and Duo have a difficult time trying to come to terms with school life, classmates and each other.

Hell's Angels
by AZZURRI
- B5 size (7 1/4 inches by 10 1/8 inches)
- 44 pages
- Printed 6/30/96
- All the major characters get some ink in this raucous collection of gag shorts, highlighted by a pair of two-parters: "Heero 13"--in which Heero emulates the world's deadliest
frowny guy, Golgo 13--and "Tatsu ga oyogu toki, subete wa owaru" ("When the dragon swims, everything ends"), in which Wufei takes part in a diving competion that makes his worst
nightmare come all too true! Wufei is also the subject of an outstanding full-page illustration. The book's playful tone comes to an abrupt stop with its last story, though: the 11-pager "Break Down," in which Duo's grief over the self-destructed Heero and the mission wells up during his stay with Quatre.

by AZZURRI
- B5 size (7 1/4 inches by 10 1/8 inches)
- 88 pages
- Printed 8/03/96
- H content. This book-long, five-chapter epic chronicles Duo's extra-curricular yaoi odyssey throughout the course of the TV series' events, one chapter--and one fellow Gundam pilot--at a time. In the end, Duo discovers just how dangerous a turn the "game" can take when Heero sets about finishing what he didn't complete at Baruji prison...

Operation Marriage
by AZZURRI
- B5 size (7 1/4 inches by 10 1/8 inches)
- 26 pages
- Printed 10/27/96
- Gags from cover to cover, this book reveals that Heero not only is a whiz with a sewing machine, but he'll also sew items on request...and try them on, too, as he does with both a veil Quatre asked him to make for his 16th sister, and a dress
Trowa asked him to make for Catherine. Together the veil and dress make quite a fetching wedding dress--and the rest of the book is a look at the separate strategies of Wufei, Trowa, Quatre and Duo for proposing to the dangerously recalcitrant Heero!

みんな、子供だった。
Minna, Kodomo Datta. ("Everyone was a Child.")
by AZZURRI
- B5 size (7 1/4 inches by 10 1/8 inches)
- 80 pages
- Printed 12/28/96
- H content. Packed with four memorable manga stories, this book opens with the nine-pager "Promise," an insightful winter
conversation with Duo. Next is "GW hakaku katariki" ("Gundam Wing special information"...I think...), 11 pages of solid silliness in which the boys, having been confronted by Relena about their TV series' low ratings, resort to transforming into a sentai team, Sailor Moon, and, of all things, Shonen Jump's panty-masked and jockstrap-adorned star Hentai Kamen--to Relena's delight! The latter half of the book features two serious tales: 16-page "A Stray Cat"--a look at Duo's ordeal in Baruji prison and his rescue by Heero--and "The Black Shadow," a graphic 32-pager in which Duo carries out an intense undercover
mission.
