The Gundam Wing Doujinshi of IHATOV-honpo
For sheer raw intensity, the work of Kazumi Yamabuki's late, great circle IHATOV-honpo is tough to top. Drawn in an emphatic, rough-edged style that mirrors the uncertainty of our heroes' lives, these powerful stories are sometimes contemplative, sometimes tragic...and sometimes, as in the inspired 1998 Gundam Wing/Evangelion crossover book Nagisa Ni Matsuwaru Etosetora, scarily surreal! Yamabuki-san also created doujinshi for other genres, including Naruto and HunterXHunter. Sadly, citing a lack of time, she decided to end the circle in August 2001.
