JULY 10: Holy cats, where did the time go?! Added a doujinshi each to the circle sections for A'SAD;A and RESETTERS today. Have quite a stack of doujinshi here in need of cover scans. Life is super-hectic right now, but aim to return to making regular updates (regular as in at least once a week--not every four months!) after this year's Summer Comiket next month. FEBRUARY 13, 2005: It's been way too long! Added 10 doujinshi today (bringing the total to more than 350 now!): three to new circle section EAST END CLUB, three to TEION-YAKEDO, two to new circle section OREYOSHI SHOKUDOU, and one each to KALIYUGA and TCELL.

Just read that One Piece will debut on U.S. TV on September 18...I'll be heading home for a visit just in time to see it! It'll air on Fox--not a good sign. Can only hope it doesn't get butchered like Escaflowne was...

AUGUST 8: New circle section today: JUNK FOODS DELIVERY! Three doujinshi there, and also added a doujinshi each to the circle sections for KALIYUGA and RESETTERS. The Summer Comiket will be this weekend, with One Piece doujinshi selling on Friday--hope to bring back lotsa goodies to share!

Was tickled to find that One Piece fandom is growing in the U.S., and that the manga is appearing in the monthly English-language edition of Shounen Jump (I dragged the February through August issues back with me)! Today I added three doujinshi to a pair of new circle sections: HYDRA + EHOBA and MUGEN RAKUEN KEIKAKU.
JUNE 29: Tonight I added three doujinshi, to the circle sections for C.DONALD NO KAIZOKUSEN, HACHIMARU and RESETTERS. Things have been hectic, getting ready for a trip back to the U.S. for Anime Expo. Next update after the con!

DECEMBER 7: Back again after a scare: Put in a bad step while bowling, of all things (well, it was the fourth game of the night, and I was trying to throw in an alien-to-me way my pro-level coworkers were suggesting...under their coaching I'd bowled a lifetime-best 164 in the third game, but man, what a price!) and was absolutely sure that I was headed for a fourth round of abdominal surgery--but after various hospital tests, the diagnosis was a separated tendon in a private place. Spent most of four days trying to be as unconscious as possible so it could heal, and was finally allowed to go back to work Thursday. Still mending, but it's much better than it was! Anyway. Today there's a new doujinshi in the circle section for ROYAL GARDEN!

That brings us to more than 200 One Piece doujinshi featured on the site! By the way, I'll be offline for a while starting August 2; am moving up to Gunma this weekend. Hope to be back online soon!

JUNE 4: Back again, after another accident. This one was much more minor, but still had me typing one-handed again for a while. MAY 11: After five days of doujinshi events in three cities in a nine-day span, have got some great new One Piece doujinshi to share! Unfortunately, the way I'd coded all the images and links here wasn't compatible with changes that Yahoo/Geocities made last night, so today I've been frantically retyping code. FEBRUARY 27: The cast is OFF! The break has mostly healed, so I'll just need to be careful for a while. Tonight I added a doujinshi to the circle section for WILD WORLD PIRATES. Now I'm gonna see if I can eat with a pair of chopsticks in each hand at the same time...!

FEBRUARY 23: Am doing much better now, but my wrist is still mending...with luck this will be the last week I have to wear the cast, though! Today I put up a new front page for the site, and hope to get back to adding doujinshi to it soon!
FEBRUARY 1: Well, I came to Japan for new experiences...and on January 16, getting hit by a car turned out to be one of them! Broken right wrist, damaged left elbow and right knee (the left knee is none too thrilled about the situation now either), took my bike seat in the gut and it still hurts to walk very far or sit very long...but I'm really very lucky that it wasn't worse! Thanks to everyone who sent get-well messages--I really appreciate it, and they cheered me up a lot! It's going to take a while more before I can spend much time at the computer, but today I added coupling info to the front page's listing of circles, and added 12 doujinshi to the circle sections for CRAZY KITCHEN, DOPPELGANGERS!, DUO BRAND, GARAGARA KAIZOKUDAN, LINOLEUM KITCHEN, TCELL, and WILD WORLD PIRATES. I'll try to make another update soon.

Will spend a couple days in coming back, stopping off at several doujinshi shops I've never been to before. Will be back on Tuesday night--hopefully with the results of some good hunting!

NOVEMBER 10, 2001: Well, after about four months of wanting to do a site like this, I finally sat down today and did it! Am really curious to see whether there are many other One Piece doujinshi fans (besides the thousands in Japan, that is--no mystery there!). Have just started to put the circle sections up, but am not sure how far I'll get on them tonight, and need to make a short-notice trip to Kyoto tomorrow...so watch for more in the coming days!
