UPDATE: More Prizes Added for
Zakuro's Hundred-Grand Mind-Mess of DOOOOOOM!

It was a wonderful surprise to get nearly 100 entries for the Zakuro's Hundred-Grand Mind-Mess of DOOOOOOM! contest--thanks so much to all for entering!

With so many entries, and folks having put so much time and effort into them, I felt bad about having only three prizes. So after I finished scoring all the entries last weekend, made a commando raid to Tokyo for more Saiyuki loot...and now there are 25 prizes!

1st, 2nd, 3rdSorry my cell-phone's camera is so crappy, but...First prize is the hotly-sought November 2002 issue of ZERO-SUM--the issue that reprinted all the G-FANTASY chapters of Saiyuki Gaiden that were never gathered in book form--along with an added character shitajiki and laminate card! Second prize is a rare Saiyuki RELOAD shitajiki sold briefly this summer in Chara Box machines at Animate shops in Japan, along with Vol. 4 of the "Saiyuki RELOAD" manga, which came out in Japan on September 25! Third prize is the CD single of doa's "Shiro No Jumon," Saiyuki RELOAD GUNLOCK's second ending theme, along with Vol. 4 of the "Saiyuki RELOAD" manga.

4th, 5thFourth prize is the latest issue of ZERO-SUM, November 2004, with a great Minekura cover and "Saiyuki RELOAD" installment among its more than 700 pages! The winner also gets a special Gensomaden Saiyuki telephone card given by cel shop Commit to customers who purchased over 6000 yen of Saiyuki art. Fifth prize is Vol. 4 of the "Saiyuki RELOAD" manga, plus a special Commit Gensomaden Saiyuki telephone card.

6th-14thThere's a nine-way tie for sixth place, so I'll draw among them to see who wins what in the stack of sixth-place goodies: Vol. 4 of the "Saiyuki RELOAD" manga (one each to two people); Saiyuki RELOAD Scrap Note hardcover blank book (one each to two people); Saiyuki RELOAD round mousepad (one each to two people); Saiyuki cork coaster set with special Commit Gensomaden Saiyuki telephone card; set of four Saiyuki RELOAD character memo pads; and set of four Saiyuki RELOAD character magnets.

15th-25thAfter that, I'll do a drawing among the rest of the entries to complete the list of 25 winners. The stack of loot for these 11 people includes: Saiyuki RELOAD plastic file (one each to four people); Saiyuki RELOAD character memo pad (one each to four people); Saiyuki RELOAD coaster premium from Animate (one each to two people); and a Goku highlighter pen.

Again, the 25 winners will be announced (first name and initial of last name will be used) here on "Journey To The REST" on October 14, the site's third anniversary! At that time I'll e-mail the winners to get your shipping address, and I'll also pay the postage to send your prize by air mail from Japan. It's the least I can do to show my appreciation for not only your making "Journey To The REST"'s upcoming 100,000-hit milestone possible, but also surviving Zakuro's Hundred-Grand Mind-Mess of DOOOOOOM!
