DECEMBER 7: Back again after a scare: Put in a bad step while bowling, of all things (well, it was the fourth game of the night, and I was trying to throw in an alien-to-me way my pro-level coworkers were suggesting...under their coaching I'd bowled a lifetime-best 164 in the third game, but man, what a price!) and was absolutely sure that I was headed for a fourth round of abdominal surgery--but after various hospital tests, the diagnosis was a separated tendon in a private place. Spent most of four days trying to be as unconscious as possible so it could heal, and was finally allowed to go back to work Thursday. Still mending, but it's much better than it was! Today have updated JOURNEY TO THE REST, and WANTED!.
NOVEMBER 30: Added a new page for Other Works By SANGO SHOW, and then updated JOURNEY TO THE REST, and WANTED!. NOVEMBER 25: Added Sasshi's latest to the circle section for CHIKYUUYA, and also updated A SURE SIGN... (5,505?!), JOURNEY TO THE REST, and WANTED!.
NOVEMBER 22: Updated JOURNEY TO THE REST and WANTED! tonight. (And intended to update one of the Gundam Wing circles, but found that the book I'd brought in was already up! Oops...)
NOVEMBER 19: There's a new doujinshi in the AZZURRI circle section! Updates of JOURNEY TO THE REST and WANTED! tonight, too.
NOVEMBER 18: Check out the beauty of a 2002 2x1 book in the circle section for MUGIFUMI TETSUDAUYO! Have also updated JOURNEY TO THE REST and WANTED!.
NOVEMBER 16: Life is going to be sooooo good when I get a phone line of my very own and can get online at my apartment and upload the couple hundred scans that are waiting and write about a book without having to scribble down notes about it in a notebook that gets ferried back and forth from work, where I've been getting online (as energy permits, after 10- and 12-hour days). Yep, life is gonna be really good then. And it may even be relatively soon, now that my visa has come through and I'm legal to get a phone line! Meanwhile, though, have only been able to do a few meager updates, for A SURE SIGN..., JOURNEY TO THE REST, TICKET TO NEVERLAND, and WANTED!. Gotta upload those scans to be able to do more Gundam Wing--but here's hoping it'll happen soon!
SEPTEMBER 29: Today I updated the circle section for CHIKYUUYA, and also updated JOURNEY TO THE REST, TICKET TO NEVERLAND, and WANTED!.
SEPTEMBER 23: There's just one problem about using the computer at work--my conscience won't let me do it when there's still work to get done, and we've been swamped the past couple of weeks! After putting in 10- to 12-hour days to get through the day's load, haven't had much energy to stay still longer to work on the page. Am hoping this week will be better, though! Tonight I updated TICKET TO NEVERLAND, JOURNEY TO THE REST and A SURE SIGN....
SEPTEMBER 8: Back at last! Not by way of my own computer yet--still waiting for my home phone line to get put in--but my new boss is kindly letting me use my work computer for personal stuff after hours, so the site can finally get rolling again! Today I updated TICKET TO NEVERLAND and JOURNEY TO THE REST, and next will sort through the waiting Gundam Wing, One Piece and Rurouni Kenshin doujinshi to see what I can put up here (am pretty limited until I find out how to type kana on this machine!). Glad to be back--thanks so much for your patience!
SEPTEMBER 6: Still trying to get hooked back up to be able to be online again...it'll happen soon, I hope, or am gonna go crazy! In the few minutes I'm able to be on today, have updated TICKET TO NEVERLAND.
AUGUST 29: Hey, all--briefly online again, and have updated A SURE SIGN... and TICKET TO NEVERLAND. Hope to be back for good next week! In the meantime, check out this page of Saiyuuki boys in drag by those wacky Hayabusa Sisters (who you might recognize from "Strange Interludes"...): SAIYUKI SIZE 9!.
AUGUST 11: Back online for a few minutes from a friend's house, and have updated TICKET TO NEVERLAND. Made the move safely (and survived the Summer Comiket!), and will be back online as soon as I can get a phone line. Dunno how long something like that takes, but hope it'll be possible to do this week. Thanks so much for your patience!
JULY 30: Life has been hyper-hectic, what with wrapping up my current job in Mie Prefecture (it has a two-year limit) and getting a new job in Gunma Prefecture! I'll be moving up to Gunma this weekend, so have to go offline starting August 2. Hope to be online again soon! In the meantime, have updated THE SANO-TORIUM and WANTED!.
JULY 24: Back online after one of the wilder weeks of my life! (Am not sure if it's okay to share the resulting news yet...soon, I hope!) Today I updated A SURE SIGN... and TICKET TO NEVERLAND.

JULY 10: Updated JOURNEY TO THE REST (hadn't planned to today, but there's some big news...).
JULY 8: At long last, the recoding of the MIND EDUCATION pages is complete! Now every image should be visible (if something isn't, please let me know!).
JULY 7: Today I updated TICKET TO NEVERLAND. Just so you know, this is probably its last major update, unless I'm able to either find another job in Japan (my current one ends later this month) or bring this Japanese computer back to the U.S. with me.
JULY 6: Have updated JOURNEY TO THE REST.
JUNE 27: Am very nearly finished with the monster chore of recoding all the MIND EDUCATION pages after changing URLs--just three more circle sections to recode and then everything will be back to normal! Today on the front page of MIND EDUCATION I marked the three circle sections that still need to be recoded.

JUNE 2: Back again, after another accident. This one was much more minor, but still had me typing one-handed again for a while. Stay the hell away from blind corners near schools when the morning bell is about to ring! *sigh* Thank goodness I've been lucky in other areas, though, and now there's a towering stack of topnotch books to add to pages! Am about to head to a doujinshi event in Nagoya, and will probably be pretty pooped when I get back tonight, but should be able to start making those additions tomorrow. This morning I updated A Sure Sign..., though--and it's official: 5,000 doujinshi! (Way beyond scary...)
MAY 17: Still recoding...Today I also added a new doujinshi to the SANGO SHOW 2001-2002 page, and updated THE SANO-TORIUM and JOURNEY TO THE REST. Oh yeah, and last night I updated WANTED!.
MAY 15: Say, there are an awful lot of pages on this site, aren't there? And I'm still slogging through recoding them! Oh well--but there are also some new things to see today: a new circle section, BLEED, and a new doujinshi added to the circle section for CHIKYUUYA!
MAY 11: After five days of doujinshi events in three cities in a nine-day span, have lots more great Gundam Wing doujinshi to share! But no sooner had I added the first--AZZURRI's brand-new book "Creator"--than I was shocked to find that none of the images were showing up! Turns out the way I've been coding (for, what, three years now?) isn't compatible with changes that Yahoo/Geocities has made. So today I've been frantically recoding! It's probably going to take the whole weekend to finish recoding everything here on MIND EDUCATION--but in the meantime, by all means, check out the AZZURRI 2000-2002 page!
APRIL 24: Next week's Super Comic City--Japan's third-largest doujinshi event--sells its catalog in advance, and I've just put up scans of the illustrated listing of circles in its Gundam Wing section. Fewer and fewer circles are producing GW doujinshi, but there are still some good ones that be at next week's event!
APRIL 16: Check out today's new circle section: THE RUFFIAN PROFESSION! I've also updated JOURNEY TO THE REST, THE SANO-TORIUM and WANTED!.
APRIL 15: Updated JOURNEY TO THE REST and WANTED!, and am nearly to the point where I can get back to MIND EDUCATION and THE SANO-TORIUM.
APRIL 14: Updated TICKET TO NEVERLAND.
APRIL 8: Added 35 more events to TICKET TO NEVERLAND.
APRIL 5: Added a Heero-kitty doujinshi to the FINDER W 1997 page, and also added more than 70 upcoming doujinshi events to TICKET TO NEVERLAND (*whew!*). Updated JOURNEY TO THE REST and WANTED!, too.
APRIL 1: Am back, after a wonderful vacation! My partner came to visit for a week, and we traveled all over. Had no idea a week could pass so quickly! Also had no idea I was getting the doujinshi so jumbled when I cleaned the place up last week--it had made sense at the time! But I've got tomorrow off work, so should be able to get re-sort them pretty quickly. In the meantime, tonight I updated JOURNEY TO THE REST andA Sure Sign....
MARCH 18: Added info on (and a link to!) Mukai Yuuya's latest work to the FINDER W circle section.
MARCH 10: Today have added something I hope will be helpful: a search feature! KirinPro Kansai business has kept me busy this past week, as well as this weekend, but I'm looking forward to being able to spend more time on MIND EDUCATION this week.
FEBRUARY 27: The cast is OFF!! The break hasn't completely healed, but it's close enough to finally turn me loose--just need to be careful with it for a while. Tonight I've added a doujinshi to the circle section for sensational CHIKYUUYA, and have also updated JOURNEY TO THE REST, THE SANO-TORIUM, and WANTED!. Now I'm gonna see if I can eat with a pair of chopsticks in each hand at the same time!
FEBRUARY 26: Tonight I added two doujinshi to the circle section for 25ANS/1-2 FINISH and one to the IHATOV-HONPO circle section.
FEBRUARY 25: Today have updated A Sure Sign..., TICKET TO NEVERLAND, JOURNEY TO THE REST, THE SANO-TORIUM, and WANTED!.
FEBRUARY 23: My wrist is still mending, but with luck the cast will finally come off next week... Today I added the super-scarce doujinshi "Imitation VI" to the circle section for TAIYOUKOKUTEN! Also redid the front page of WANTED! and fixed a broken link on JOURNEY TO THE REST.
FEBRUARY 6: Today I added Asashi No Prelude-sha's new doujinshi to the "OTHER WORKS BY ARASHI NO PRELUDE-SHA" page, and have also updated THE SANO-TORIUM.
FEBRUARY 5: Well, I came to Japan for new experiences...and on January 16, getting hit by a car turned out to be one of them! Broken right wrist (they took the cast off yesterday, x-rayed my wrist, said "Yep, it's still broken," and put a new cast on...*owie-owie-owie*...!), damaged left elbow and right knee (the left knee is none too thrilled about the situation now either), took my bike seat in the gut and it still hurts to walk very far or sit very long...but I'm really very lucky that it wasn't worse! Thanks to everyone who sent get-well messages--I really appreciate it, and they cheered me up a lot! It's going to take a while more before I can spend much time at the computer, but today I added Nattsu's latest doujinshi to the "OTHER WORKS BY NATTSU" page, and have also updated JOURNEY TO THE REST. I'll try to make another update soon.
JANUARY 15: It's baaaack--TICKET TO NEVERLAND, a guide to upcoming doujinshi and anime collectibles events in Japan! I'd pulled the plug on it last November or so, but the several nice e-mails I've received about it since then showed me it's worth the effort after all. :^) Rebuilding it kept me busy over the weekend, and there's still more I need to add to it--but am going to hold off on the rest until next weekend, and get back to fun stuff like Gundam Wing!
JANUARY 12: Today I've added a doujinshi to the circle section for ZAOUGUMI, and have updated JOURNEY TO THE REST.
JANUARY 11: Have added the long-awaited latest book by MUGIFUMI TETSUDAUYO to their circle section, and also updated JOURNEY TO THE REST and THE SANO-TORIUM.
JANUARY 10: Lots new today, starting with doujinshi additions to the circle sections for AZZURRI, DOREI KOUJOU, PLUM GARDEN, POOH FARM, RINGO ZAIDAN and YUUBOKUMIN KENZAN!/NOMAD APPEAR!. Have also updated the write-up on the opening page of the RINGO ZAIDAN circle section, and added a link to Midori Saiha's own Web site. THE SANO-TORIUM, JOURNEY TO THE REST, WANTED!, and the ever-more-scary A Sure Sign... have also been updated--and there's more to come!
JANUARY 4: Akemashite omedetou! Survived the Winter Comiket, and have lots of goodies to share here next week! A relaxing week visiting friends in Tokyo is just finishing, and tomorrow I'm off to the Comic City In Osaka event. Hope to be back online for good next Tuesday!
